Only 4 days.....

Only 4 days until I leave for Ireland,
In preparation for this trip, I have A LOT to get done.
Check out my lists below and let me know if I'm forgetting anything, please?

TO DO
pick up allergy prescription
laundry
tell my bank I'll be there so that they don't think any transactions are fraudulent and freeze up my account
transfer $$ to my checking account

TO GET
power adaptor tingy
travel alarm clock
new socks
pocket calculator (for figuring out the crappy exchange rate)
bandaids (I'm prone to blisters)

TO PACK (other than the basic clothing)
batteries
iPod charger
cameras (& the needed flash cards)
a book or two (any light reading suggestions?)

A trip to Ireland! So exciting! I would recommend "Rachel's Holiday" for your light reading. It's by Irish writer Marian Keyes and whenever I read it, the language and humour make me FEEL like I'm in Ireland, even though it's been 6 years since I've been. Hope it's a wonderful trip!!

If you're a light sleeper like me, a pair of earplugs and an eyemask really helps.

In the end all you really need is your passport and money. The rest you can forget!!

Val,
I'm not sure about the knitting. I know that I can take knitting needles on domestic flights, but I'm not sure about international.
Roro,
I am SO excited. Thanks for the book recommendation, I'll have to find it.
Jennifer,
Once I'm actually asleep, I could sleep through a nuclear attack. However, I can have trouble falling asleep if theres light & noise around and with my luck there will be a screaming 2 year old sitting behind me, so I'll be sure to get the earplugs and eyemask.
Drew,
I've got the Purell covered, had forgotten about Airborne though... adding it to my shopping list now!

Thanks everyone!!
